Yippie! Painted a room for the first time... my 2 sister's future sleeping room actually... Not the colour that they hoped it to be though (pink) ... it's more like turquoise...

Nowadays my life is getting soooo routine that small changes in my schedule make me soooo happy... *sigh...

Sending out all my CNY letters soon... didn't realise that it's soooo near CNY, so I forgot that they'll be a HUGE pile up of CNY letters... I really hope the post service is super efficient so that all my letters get to their respective areas in time...

Anyway, I'll be buying new clothes tomorrow! Yippie! Unfortunately though, Batu Pahat lacks some variety... Sometimes I just can't find the type of clothing I want... And there's no Starbucks here! (what to do... how many people would actually dare to spend RM10+ on a cup of coffee? Just go to the Kopitiam lah!) So Klang Valley people (and Singaporeans) should really count their blessings! (Yes you!)

Oh, forgot to mention something. There's this really nice Korean show on 8TV now called 大长今 (Dae Jang Gum or something like that). It's basically about this girl 长今, how she struggles through her life in the palace and how people always make her life miserable and 陷害her... The show's nice 'cause you get to see how Koreans dress in the palace in the past (I think during the 朝鲜 empire...) Also, the food they eat and their knowledge of medicine etc. A must watch! Singapore should be able to receive 8TV (the show is at 8.30 pm, Mon-Fri) ... still got some way to go before the show ends... I missed like 30+ episodes...

Ok... I've calmed down now...

Received a number of "Happy Birthday's " from my friends in Malaysia and Singapore (and Brunei)... haha... even those that I've neglected most of the time... Thanks so much guys...

Anyway, I got a birthday card from my sister. It was not the homemade type but rather bought from a shop--which is what I prefer... haha... My brother gave me this nice blue cushion with an 'Aquarius' motif on it, and also a nice cute soft-toy puppie! Haha... I'll try to put a photo of it online one day...

Saw an albino lizard 2 days ago... freaky... looked liked a ghost, especially because it was 1am in the morning and I was fixing myself a drink... Forgot what causes albinism... something to do with the genes of course, but what? Gene mutation or the usual dominant-reccessive thingy? Haha...

Chinese new year is approaching, so I'm trying to tidy up the house and I'll be helping with some painting too... got some of the old furniture thrown...

Dengue fever is getting Malaysians all panicking now... But it is also their fault that mosquitoes are omnipresent. I mean, just take a look at those drains! Filled with stagnant water, rubbish and some have small islands of vegetation... Eww... but that's Malaysia lah... Still, I might be cleaning up the drain in front and behind of my house (not that it's of much use, but at least I'll feel better...). Where's the gotong-royong spirit gone?

OK... the trip has ended about 2 + days ago, but I've not really got the mood to do stuff yet... So I'm too lazy to blog about the trip...yet. Let's just say we all went to a lot of places and ate a lot...

Anyway, I'll just blog on some lighter stuff... American Idol! Haha... Washington D.C. is the first station. This year's competition is a bit different because they have guest judges in each station. Today's was Mike McGrawth or something like that... I just know that he's the lead singer for the band Sugar Ray (I love their songs!)... apart from that, everthing else is about the same... many people who are oblivious to their horrendous singing voices and think they are the next American Idol... but it is these people that make the show interesting as well... haha..

Well, it turns out that I'm not going to Klang first... I'm going straight to Bukit Jalil by taxi.

Got a new haircut, but I've realised that it's not that new actually... I've had a similar haircut roughly 2 years ago. Oh well, I guess I can't go to my old hairdresser's anymore coz she doesn't have the kind of hairstyle I want in her catalog... My hair is definitely SHORT now...

Went to a Malay wedding on Saturday. I represented my mom, who wouldn't be able to eat the spicy food provided. The best thing about it was that it was held in Kluang (some 54 km away from BP), so I was able to see how to get to the bus station from the train station. That's part of the transport that I'm in charge of. Kluang's development seems better than BP's, even though BP's population is likely to be higher. Where's the investment and development in BP?!

Might not be blogging for some time as I'll be travelling...
